      Thinking of a night out with family or close friends, and a bit of "private time"? Something which introduces you to an evening of exceptional fine dining, a one of a kind experience which is both appetizing and entertaining? An evening out that you will think about over and over again? Then look no further. The first part of the Bruce Steak Run starts with a limo ride lasting about one and a half hours as we chauffeur you to your destination. This will give you a chance to visit, chat and catch up on all the news over a glass of your favorite drink. And in an effort to eliminate distraction, we do ask that there be no cell phone communication (or texting) during our ride to and from our dinner reservation. As the name says, this is about steak. The steaks we will be eating - prepared just the way you want it - are locally grown and are hung for at least 21 days for tenderness and flavour. They are freshly cut that morning, and that's about as fresh as it gets unless you follow the cow around with a fork. All the salads and fixings are home made and prepared fresh for that serving: when was the last time you had potatoes in fresh farm cream? And the desserts are freshly prepared too, of course. All of this is served buffet-style, which means it's an all-you-can-eat affair... which perhaps explains why the journey home is sometimes called the moan and groan part of our trip. A package as exclusive as this requires planning, and the restaurant is very popular, so please book at least 45 days in advance (60 might be better...). It's Fridays only (with occasional Saturdays), and usually features steak and ribs, but sometimes steak and shrimp… we don't know until we make your reservation!
